Personality:Krell is often staying in the shadows, trying to study his opponents move. His abilities in Force Telekinesis give him a whole different way of doing things: whereas one would use the Force to sneak by a squadron of troopers, Krell would bring everything down around them. He is essentially, a terrorist, instilling fear in his victims through his actions.
Krell is someone that takes advantage of his Cathar nature of being quick-tempered to immerse himself in the Dark Side and gain the upper hand on his opponents. Because of not taking the ritual of the Blood Hunt, something every Cathar takes part in, he still has his inner darkness festering within him. If he isn’t battling, he is saving up his anger to unleash it on his next prey.
His old Sith Master instilled in him a warped view of things: all living things are potential slavers. However, Krell dispatched this view completely when he finally slew his Master in his sleep, thinking he himself was a slave to his Sith Master. Right now, he thinks like a Sith Lord: All Jedi is to be eliminated. This ideal, however was stalled as the Sith were slowly taking over the Republic because of the Assassination Attempt on the Dark Lord of the Sith. He could not halt or hinder any plans the Sith made to take over the Republic.
History:
Born on Cathar to a normal Cathar family, he witnessed as slavers came and murdered his parents. He was one of the few that were taken by slavers, since it was a planned attack where they lived. He was 10 years old at this time. Sent to a slaver Fair, he was sold to Trandoshian miners, and he was immediately sent to work there. This event, along with the subsequent beatings he was given as he was raised to mine. He was prized as a slaver because of his natural strength and his Cathar nature, however he had other plans. He wanted revenge on the slavers that killed his family.
The following 6 years were just him being exposed to mining Chalon in Trandosha, and being tortured if he didn’t bring back anything to his Masters. At age 16, he was harassed by a pair of miners while they were mining, telling him that he was nothing but a slave and he would always be one. He then killed them, fueled by his inner anger, and aided by the mining rifle he had in his hand. He actually killed in his life. And he felt good about it. He ran away, heading into forested areas, and he established an infamous reputation of killing people that wandered off into where he was. This lasted for 1 year, and he gained a preference for killing Trandoshians.
Krell noticed that the ones that he would kill were not slavers. One day, a hooded man came into a forest, right where Krell was. Krell was stalking the man as he was walking deeper in the forest. Once Krell thought he had the jump on him, he struck…but he was sent flying back by an unseen force. He witnessed as the man brandished a Lightsaber…a red lightsaber. Krell head the man’s proposition. He was giving him the chance to get back at those who enslaved him. He spoke of giving him the tools to kill his slavers, and how to use his Cathar nature to his advantage.
Krell agreed, and his life as a Sith was beginning.
Taken among the ranks of the Sith, he quickly rose through, delving into his anger and started to create a connection to the Dark Side, believing it to be a powerful tool to channel his anger. At times, he noticed that his anger would grow by leaps and bounds.
Within the next 3 years, he gained proficiency in Shii-Cho. After this, he was sent to a test of his training: He was to kill his slavers, and anyone else that saw him. He was to test his skills. And so, he was sent to Trandosha, knowing full well the slavers were still there. Once he arrived, he found another slaver fair…and laid waste to it. Using the dark side, he brought the building down around it, and killed anyone that escaped with his claws and his lightsaber. Little did he know, he had actually murdered over 10 Cathar slaves being sold there at the fair. He had murdered some of his own kind without him knowing it.
One year after this, he continued to train in lightsaber fighting, finding that the thrill of dueling gave him focus; a way to channel his inner darkness. He gained proficiency in Shien, allowing him to channel his impulses and addressing his anger. His Sith Master came to him one night, and challenged him to a duel, brandishing his lightsaber. Krell did so, and they dueled. The Sith Master quickly disarmed him, and gave him an ultimatum: grow stronger or remain a slave to the Sith Lord.
Angered, Krell continued to perfect his saber skills the following years, remaining hidden from his Sith Master and he managed a way to channel all his darkness into his fighting, giving him uncanny strength. As a result, he was starting to learn Soresu and Juyo. His hate towards his master led him to murder him in his sleep after a session in which he dueled with his master after hiding from him, and besting him. With a growl, he gave his Master some last words: ‘I am no slave…I am Sith.’ With it, he decapitated the now dead master and took his lightsaber, and kept his own embedded in the corpse of what was his Sith Lord. Krell was 28 years old when he commited this murder.
Because of this, The current Dark Lord of the Sith granted unto him the title of Sith Marauder, telling him that his plan to kill him when he least expected him after showing he could’ve murdered his old sith master showed cunning and planning.
As the Sith were starting to embed themselves in the Republic, Krell found himself fighting on the skirmishes happening on the Outer Rim. By this time, Darth krell did not wish for an apprentice, proclaiming it would only hold him back from unleashing his true potential.
The Force shall free me.
