Just wondering, how would assassins be hired? Like, a PM or a thread in the RP Planning section or what? I mean, you can't deprive the assassins of killing!

Well it depends on the assassination really. If it's some random generic NPC (Non-Player Character) then you can pretty much kill as many people as you want (within reason of course) and coordinate the creation of threads with whomever you're going to RP with (via PM, email or whatever you use for communication). If it's a higher ranking or more powerful political NPC (such as a senator) then you'd require permission from a staff member in order for the thread to be valid.
For PC's (Player Characters) it's a bit more difficult. For the average character (smuggler, jedi knight, trooper est.) then all you need is consent of the other member for it to take place. However again if their character is more powerful either by ranking or politically you'd require confirmation from a staff member (most lightly me sense I do most of the plot related work) as it might disrupt the site’s storyline.
Not sure if any of this answered your question, if not please elaborate further and Ill do my best to answer as quickly and efficiently as possible.
